JPG Sample Files
We have a number of different JPG Sample Files available.
JPG files are the most popular image file in the world. Supporting quality levels and with amazing compression, JPEG files are used in all kinds of applications both online and offline all over the world. We have a selection of different sample JPG images for you to use in any project you may need them on. None of the images have any royalties or license attached so you can use any of the example JPGs in any way you want. Our sample JPGs are available in a number of different resolutions.
GIF Sample Files
We have a number of different GIF Sample Files available.
GIF files (pronounced "JIFF", if you can believe that) are very popular files used to show short animations. We have a number of sample GIF files for you to download and use. The GIF files are in different resolutions and file sizes so they are easy to test and compare.
PNG Sample Files
We have a number of different PNG Sample Files available.
PNG files have been popular for a long time due to their ability to show transparency, which a lot of other popular formats like JPEGs are unable to do. We have a few different sample PNG files for you to choose from. We have kept the images the same across all of the image types so that you can easily compare, which means we have a few different example files to choose from with different resolutions.
BMP Sample Files
We have a number of different BMP Sample Files available.
BMP (or Bitmap) image files are much less popular that JPG or PNG files. A BMP file contains much more meta information about the image, which means the file size is much larger, but also means they are often a little more accurately displayed. We have a number of sample BMP/Bitmap image files available, all of the same image as our other example files and in the same resolutions.
TIFF Sample Files
We have a number of different TIFF Sample Files available.
TIFF files are not very popular, but are still used in a few industries and word natively inside Windows. We have a few sample TIFF files available for you to download, in the same resolutions and of the same image as the other example image files we have here.
All of our example images are squares with a thick green border so you can check the edges. The main area of the image contains a light coloured gradient overlaid with a solid white circle with a 50% transparency applied. This setup makes it easy to test colour tables and configurations on monitors.
