OGG Sample Files
OGG files are created by Xiph.org, the same foundation behind the FLAC file type. OGG is a container format
with files usually having the .ogg file extension, although there are other file formats.
The OGG container often contains a FLAC file. Download sample OGG files for free, with no royalties, DRM
or licensing on any file.

Example OGG files
If you're looking for audio files that will play well on modern computers, you've probably heard of OGG audio files. The OGG format consists of a container and data with a particular encoding. The container is the scaffolding of the file and contains the header, metadata, and a way to hold the encoded content. Unlike MP3 files, however, OGG files are not restricted to just one encoding, as they can support several.
The OGG format is designed to support true streaming, which means it doesn't need to load the entire file to begin playing. This avoids memory limitations that can result when large files are played. The OGG format also supports several types of metadata, including VorbisComment, which consists of key-value pairs up to 16 exabytes. Using this metadata, you can determine how many segments are contained in an OGG file. OGG files are also referred to as Vorbis files.
